Literature[edit]
Project Pages[edit]
These pages point to useful information about individual projects.
- Michigan Genomics Initiative (MGI) -- Combining electronic health records and genetics for life-long analysis.
- SardiNIA -- SardiNIA Study of Aging.
- GSK Collaboration -- Collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline on Genetics of Drug Development. This collaboration supports a number of subprojects, includign one on Trial Enrichment Design.
- Variant Calling Pipeline -- A set of tools for analyzing next generation sequence data, to be deployed at NCBI and used to evaluate data quality, map short read data and, ultimately, call sequence variants, including SNPs and copy number polymorphism.
- InPSYght Sequencing Project -- Whole genome sequencing of African American individuals with Bipolar or Schizophrenia phenotypes.
- NHLBI Deep Whole Genome Sequencing Project -- We serve as the "Informatics Resource Center" for variant discovery and genotyping in 30x coverage whole genome sequence data for approximately 20,000 individuals from ongoing NHLBI disease specific research studies.
- NHLBI Whole Exome Sequencing -- We are collaborating with the Broad Institute to generate and analyse whole exome sequences to study traits of interest to NHLBI.
- Type 2 Diabetes Low Coverage Sequencing and High Density SNP Genotyping -- This is a GO grant collaboration with David Altshuler at Broad Institute and Mark McCarthy at Oxford to do 4 x coverage whole genome sequencing on a total of 3000 individuals (cases + controls) for a study of Type 2 diabetes.
- Psoriasis Projects - A series of projects to further understanding of the genetics of Psoriasis with JT Elder and his group.
- Minnesota Twin and Family Studies -- Collaborations with Bill Iacono and Matt McGue investigating genetics of addiction.
- Genes for Good -- A study to recruit individuals online (on Facebook), send them a spit kit, and ask them to complete online surveys for genetic association studies.
