The goal of the InPSYght project is to discover variants that increase the risk of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. The working plan is to perform 20x sequencing on 10,000 individuals of African American descent over the next few years and to integrate these findings with the larger Whole Genome Sequencing of Psychiatric Disorders NIMH consortium.
