Clinical Trial Enrichment[edit]
We are developing methods that use genetic data to select individuals for inclusion in clinical trials. There are dual objectives to this experiment, which involve (a) reducing the duration of the trail and (b) reducing the number of individuals to be included in the trial.

Large Scale Sequencing of Drug Target Genes[edit]
GSK is sequencing 15,000 individuals at 200 genes that are targets for GSK assets. The target list is proprietary GSK information and cannot be e-mailed or posted.

Variant Calling Methods[edit]
One of our key contributions will be to deploy methods for variant calling that (a) combine information across multiple individuals and (b) use linkage disequilibrium to improve variant calls.
Yancy Lo will be doing the calling.
